What advice do you have for an aspiring MMA fighter?
My biggest advice to those aspiring MMA fighters is not to rush into anything too fast. The new age MMA fighter is well versed in all areas of the sport, so it is important to cover all the bases and have an amateur record and experience before jumping into professional fights too fast. Experience both in the gym and in the amateur arena is vital to success longer term.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Growing up, Phys Ed was my favorite class without a doubt. In University, I enjoyed Market Research, and understanding the market that you are looking to capture.
If you weren't a fighter, what would you be?
If I wasn't a fighter, I would be in some form of Marketing or Sales since I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Business degree.
