What has been your career highlight so far?

In college, getting to the Elite 8 with my team was pretty amazing senior year.  And now, the opportunity to train with the Women's National Team is incredible.

Who were your heroes growing up?

I've always looked up to my parents.  They are two of the most loving and supportive people.  In the volleyball world, I looked up to both Karch Kiraly and Misty May - both incredible volleyball players and people.

What advice do you have for an aspiring volleyball player?

Just get out there and play as much as you can!  I think it's really important to develop as an all around player and be comfortable playing anywhere on the court.  At the same time, when you're playing, I think it's important to learn how to make every contact and every point matter.  The more connected to the game and the process you are, the better you'll get (and you'll get better faster!).

What is the best part of your game?

I think the best part of volleyball is developing some great relationships with your teammates.  Teamwork is critical in volleyball and it's really impossible to win a game with just 1 person.  It's fun to learn about your teammates, how they play and developing trust.

Who is the toughest player you have faced?

I've faced some really incredible players both in practice that are on my team as well as girls I've played against on other teams.  The Pac-10 (now Pac-12) has some of the best volleyball in the country.  I remember Asia Kaczor set a conference record against us my freshman year, and she was very talented!

What was your favorite subject in school?

Growing up I loved Gym class :)  I always enjoyed math as well.

Which do you do in your free time?

I like to see movies and find new music, or catch up on some of my favorite TV shows.
