What has been your career highlight so far?
I would have to say playing the the LPGA Safeway Classic. It was my very first professional event, I was in awe of everything and everybody! I didn’t play well but, it was a great learning experience and I will never forget it!
What part of your game are you most proud of?
I scramble very well, it’s not always pretty but it gets the job done!
What is the toughest course for you?
The toughest course I have ever played is The Broadmoor Golf Club, where the U.S women’s Open was this year. I played it for the U.S women’s open qualifier in 2010. The course was very long, the rough was thick, and the greens were fast and undulating!
What advice do you have for an aspiring pro golfer?
Practice your shortgame the most! 100 yards and in, is where the scoring happens! And make sure to have fun, it’s just a game and games are supposed to be fun, right?
I like to hang out with friends and family. Go to the lake, do some wakesurfing! watch movies or do anything I can outside, I love being outdoors!
What was your favorite subject in school and why?
Does P.E. count?! If it doesn’t then I would have to say science or history,It’s cool to learn why things are the way they are! like how the continents formed or how WWII began!
What is the strangest thing that you have encountered on the course? I played in the Arizona Women’s Open with a woman who brought, what I thought was an extremely large lunch bag on the course with her (she had it sitting on the floor of her golf cart) turns out it was not a lunch bag, but contained a small dog! A rat Terrier I believe!
