Bellator Ring Girl
Who were your heroes growing up?
Audrey Hepburn because she not only persued her dreams, she achieved them. When put in the spotlight she used it to put the needs of others there with her.
What is your career highlight so far?
Being in Maxim and on TMZ was a cool moment for me. My nieces seeing me on TV is fun to! The best part has been being such a positive influence on twitter and hearing from my fans daily.
What sports did you participate in while growing up?
I actually played rugby, I was more into theatre and photography though.
What advice do you have for an aspiring model/celebrity/entertainer?
Believe in yourself, especially when no one else does. Tell yourself that you're going to make it and don't give up until you do. Life is way to short to not persue your dreams.
What was your favorite subject in school? And why?
I loved theater and photography class. I hated math!
What is the most bizarre thing you have witnessed at an event?
I love MMA. But it still amuses me how entertaining it is to us to see a knockout. Don't get me wrong though, I love seeing a knockout! I have the best seats in the house! For example, when Pitbull (one of my favorites) knocked out Imada with a headkick, seeing Imada wobble for a few seconds then fall to the grounf, was just insane to see. It's so weird to see fighters cry after a Loss/Win too. It makes me tear up too! As for fans, I once had a guy drive 3 hrs with a stack of photos for me to autograph. That was bizarre to me, haha.
Describe a time when you had to persevere through a difficult time/situation?
I think life is constant perseverance. I grew up with an alcoholic father and a suicidal mother. Although they've gotten better, they still struggle with these things. I've had to learn how to be strong and not let this effect me achieving my dreams. The last thing a daughter wants to hear is her mother say she doesn't want to live, and this has happened right before a shoot. Sadly, I've had to detach. I have to use these situations to push me forward instead of hold me back.
