Haeley Keitel

St. Louis Blues Ice Crew

1.) What do you enjoy the most about being on the St. Louis Blues ice crew?

The opportunity to work with an amazing organization and getting to skate on the ice with NHL players.

2.) What is the most bizarre thing that you've witnessed while working a game?

Probably getting water squirted at me by someone on the opposing teams bench.

3.) What was your favorite subject in school and why?

Psychology because it was interesting to me and I learned a lot about myself.

4.) Who were your heroes growing up and why?

My parents. My mom was a single mom and usually worked two jobs but always seemed to have time for my brother and I. My dad was my hockey coach for years and I've always looked up to him as a player and a great father.

5.) Which sports did you play growing up?

I played ice hockey from the time I was 6 years old until I was 18.

6.) Describe your experiences working in the sports information office at Lindenwood University.

It was a lot of fun and I did a lot of work. I was working under the sports information director and had to go to as many home games possible. Lindenwood had over 40 sports at the time so I was always busy. I would take stats, pictures, deliver stats to away coaches after the games, report scores to TV, news, and radio stations, enter rosters and player bios in the computer.

7.) What is your dream job?

My dream job would be to work full time with the St. Louis Blues. I would love to work with the players and be something like a video coach or equipment manager but working in the front office would still be an honor.
