Everyone has talked about who the Cleveland Indians will get in order to improve their offense. Well it looks like they have found the right player. Johnny "Captain Caveman" Damon recently signed with the Tribe. At 38 years old, you may be thinking that he does not have much left in him. Last year he played 151 games for the Rays, had a batting average of .261, 16 home runs, and 73 runs batted in. These certainly don't sound like the stats of an old man or someone past their prime. They are solid stats that can help a lineup. Damon previously played for winning franchises including the Yankees and Red Sox. Beyond the stats, his veteran leadership will be a needed boost to the Indians clubhouse. He should make is debut in Cleveland shortly.
