Jamie Sadlowski

Pro Golfer/Long Driver

1.) What advice do you have for an aspiring athlete?

My advice for an aspiring athlete would be you can never work/train hard enough. Prepare yourself for the task at hand so when it's time to do the job you don't hesitate or feel your unprepared, mentally and physically.

2.) What is your career highlight so far?

My career highlights would be winning back-to-back RE/MAX Junior Long Drive Championships in 2005-2006 with record drives of 400 yards in 05 and 437 yards in 2006, as well as winning Back-to-Back Re/MAX World Long Drive Championships in 2008-09, and I still hold the record for the longest drive in a World Championship at 418 yards.

3.) How has being a hockey player helped you to be a successful long driver?

I played hockey left handed and play golf right handed. It has helped me create lag and flexibility starting at a very young age, and it's helped because I've been able to create that speed on both sides of my body. I'm not a very big guy 5'11" 165 lbs. I create a lot of speed due to my wrist and overall flexibility.

4.) Who were your heroes growing up?

My heroes growing up were Wayne Gretzky and Tiger Woods.

5.) What was your favorite subject in school? why?

My favorite subject in school was gym class! I wasn't a great student because my mind was always on sports. My marks definitely felt the effects but at the same time I don't have any regrets because of the success I've had and the hard work I've put into my career!

6.) What do you like to do in your free time?

I travel a lot about 225 days a year, so when I get some time off at home I just like to hangout, enjoy the family, my dog and obviously summer months I like playing golf at my home course. I also focus on my training and keeping care of my body while I have a break.
