1.) What advice do you have for an aspiring baseball player? Have a goal and whatever that goal is, understand that there is going to be obstacles that will come in your way, but keep persevering through those obstacles. Work hard and do whatever it takes to reach that goal.
2.) Who were your heroes growing up? Don Mattingly - as a baseball player more than anybody was one of the most talented guys, so I admired him on the field.
3.) What are your goals for 2013 and beyond? My goal for 2013 is to make it to the big leagues with the Baltimore Orioles, then make it to the playoffs, and hopefully be a part of the championship. But beyond that, play as many years as possible in the MLB.
4.) What lessons do you hope kids can learn from your story? Never give up, overcome adversity, and continue to pursue you career even through tough times, this is really what my story is about.
5.) What was your favorite subject in school? why? I liked all the classes. I enjoyed history.
6.) What do you like to do when you're not playing baseball? I like to workout and help others.
