Baltimore Ravens Superstars

By: Shannon Stern

After winning this year’s Super Bowl, the Baltimore Ravens have not stopped. Following their MASSIVE “Welcome Home” parade that filled the entire M&T Bank Stadium along with the streets connecting City Hall to the stadium, the Ravens found themselves facing the bright lights of fame.

Head coach John Harbaugh appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” Also appearing on Letterman were Anquan Boldin, Justin Tucker, and Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco. Flacco, the newest Haribo Gold Bears endorser, enjoyed a second trip to the Big Apple in which he appeared on “Live with Kelly and Michael” before going to fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger’s studio to try on clothes and later take in his fashion show that was a part of New York Fashion Week. It was also announced on March 4ththat Flacco signed a new six-year deal for $120.6 million, making him the highest-paid NFL player in history.

But, New York is not the only place the Ravens are flocking to. Ed Reed was the NFL Network’s red carpet correspondent for the Oscar Awards, drawing in many fans, including Baltimore native and former Ravens cheerleader Stacy Keibler.   Dennis Pitta graced the E! network with his presence by appearing on “Fashion Police.” Jacoby Jones has taken over Hollywood as well. While appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Jones said he would love to appear on “Dancing with the Stars.” Well, his prayers were answered. Jones was the first cast member announced, during a commercial on Oscar night. Jones will be dancing with Karina Smirnoff when the show premieres on March 18th. Good luck, Jacoby! We will all be rooting for you!
