1.) What advice do you have for an aspiring MMA Fighter? Find a good gym, which means start training with a coach who knows what he's doing.
2.) What has been the highlight of your career? Going to Japan and being able to fight him, and beat him by knockout.
3.) What are your goals for 2013-2014? I just won a UFC fight last weekend. I'm looking to take the rest of the year off, and spending that time with my family. In 2014, getting busy and going undefeated.
4.) What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy anything outdoors. I go hunting, fishing, and lots of different activities in the great outdoors.
5.) Who would you like to fight next? I think I'm currently ranked #9. I'd like to fight anybody who is ranked higher. I just want to continue to improve with my standing in MMA.
6.) What does a typical training day look like for you? I usually get up, eat breakfast, head to the gym for early cardio, we do evening training that involves more technical stuff.
7.) Who were your heroes growing up? My main hero was Dan Gable, who was a very famous wrestler.
8.) What was your favorite subject in school? Why? My most enjoyable subject was math.
