Roy "Big Country" Nelson
What advice do you have for an aspiring fighter?
Pick another business. It is not how many times you fall down, it is how many times you get up.
Who is the toughest fighter you have ever faced?
I would say the toughest fighter you face is yourself. You have to fight through your own demons. The only person that can beat you is yourself.
If you were not a fighter, what would you be?
I would be a teacher of some sort. I would spread my knowledge. I would want to help people to be a better person.
Who were your heroes growing up?
I didn't really have heroes. I had people I wanted to be like, people I admired, and just good people.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Math. I liked math because there was only one right answer. You know that 2+2 is always 4, it can never be 5.
If you had the choice, who would you like to fight?
I would like to fight JBS, Brock Lesnar, and maybe even the Undertaker.
